Four laning of Rajahmundry-Korukonda-Bhadrachalam state highway

Plans are afoot to convert exising 2 lane state highway(i.e korukonda road) into a 4 lane highway. A survey is underway for land aquisition. This would help faster access to Madhurapudi airport and important temple towns like Bhadrachalam while easing out traffic congestion on the busiest korukonda road. Also, all the villages would be greatly benifited due to enhanced connectivity to "Hub Rajahmundry".
